The Chocolate Gift Company is a family-owned business that focuses on creating high-quality chocolate products with unique and beautiful packaging.

Dissatisfied with their previous agency, The Chocolate Gift Company sought out a team that could help them nurture their already successful Instagram page and improve their marketing campaigns for increased reach and revenue.

What We Did.

The experienced team at The Good Marketer worked closely with The Chocolate Gift Company to develop and execute a bespoke marketing strategy that would improve their brand awareness and drive sales. We worked across multiple channels to guarantee a well-rounded and effective approach.

In order to build a strong foundation, we used a three-step approach across a range of platforms. In stage 1, we began integrating Klaviyo for email marketing, made crucial website optimisations and established their profitability metrics to ensure we knew what we needed to do in terms of ROAS and MER. This initial stage set The Chocolate Gift Company up for success to maximise its marketing strategies.

After these essential foundations were in place, we began stage 2, which focused heavily on creating high-quality content. Our team dedicated one full day per month to film fresh, engaging content for their social media platforms. This content included product and lifestyle content to improve the brand story.

To increase their reach further, we provided guidance on Meta advertising, creative strategy and organic social media best practices. The Good Marketer’s creative team also supported utilising their community of content created to foster a space for authentic brand advocacy.

In the final stage, stage 3, we launched strategically planned ad campaigns designed to drive conversions and increase brand awareness. To do this, we ran paid social strategies focusing on key events during the year, like Halloween, Black Friday, and Christmas. We also implemented a mix of video and image content. Interestingly, we have found image ads to generate a better ROAS than our video ads.

Based on previous data, these campaigns were optimised to ensure The Chocolate Gift Company would stand out in their competitive market and set them up for long-term success.
