Anthony James is an online London-based watch company providing an array of high-quality luxury watches at affordable prices.
They approached The Good Marketer at a time when building customer trust and increasing brand visibility were their biggest challenges.

What We Did.
To help Anthony James scale their business and drive sales, we implemented a Meta campaign and aimed to deliver a continuous stream of user-generated videos per month, allowing for continuous testing and optimisation of the campaign structure. The ultimate goal was to see the company’s CPA reduce and increase sales of their top products through Shopify.
The first thing we tried to do was build trust with the desired target personas. To do this, we leveraged a multi-touchpoint funnel approach with Meta Ads to engage the potential customers at multiple stages of their journey. We implemented more traditional cold conversion campaigns with the help of existing data, such as lookalike audiences (LLA). Thanks to this, we scaled our ad campaigns while maintaining high conversion rates.
We also used Meta’s Advantage + targeting ad campaign automation to optimise our cold ad delivery and reach the best-performing audience. Further down the funnel, we used a warm ad campaign to retarget the website visitors who have visited Anthony James’s site but did not purchase.
In terms of creatives, we used a mixture of still images showcasing Anthony James’s top-selling product ranges, making sure these came out at key sales periods, such as Black Friday and Christmas, to encourage gifting and self-purchasing. Additionally, we created user-generated video content, which featured dynamic elements such as outfit transitions and watch roll footage, with the intention of driving customer engagement with a more authentic perspective on the products.
Over a 6-month period of working together with Anthony James, we have achieved the following:
- 84.21% increase in purchase conversion value and revenue
- 46.99% increase in ROAS
- 20.35% decrease in CPA
- A 55% increase in total sales on Shopify
- A 67% increase in conversion rate on Shopify
